Refund, Return & Store Policies
Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items
If you receive an item that is damaged, defective, or different from what you ordered, please email us as soon as possible so we can resolve the issue. To process a claim, photo or video evidence must be provided. Verified claims are eligible for a replacement copy. If the item is out of stock, a cash refund will be issued. Refunds are not available for items labeled “one size fits all.”
Returns for Damaged Items
We make every effort to ensure all orders arrive in perfect condition, but we understand that occasional damage may occur during shipping. If this happens, please contact us within fourteen days of receipt so we can review the issue. All returns must be authorized prior to shipping; unauthorized returns will be denied and returned to sender. Verified claims are eligible for a replacement copy, subject to stock availability, or a cash refund if the item is out of stock.
For domestic orders, replacement items are shipped at no cost to the customer.
For international orders, we are committed to providing a fair and efficient resolution for transit damage. Replacement copies are available; however, freight charges for replacement shipments are the responsibility of the customer. To balance this, we issue a ten percent discount code that may be used on any item in our store. Once the customer places a new order using the code, we reimburse the freight charge for that new order. The cost of the additional item effectively offsets the shipping cost of the replacement package. If the combined freight charge exceeds the cost of the new order, we will cover the difference. This policy reflects the fact that all items leave our facility in inspected condition and that international shipping presents additional challenges outside our control.
Clothing Merchandise
All clothing merchandise is processed within 24 hours of purchase and ships separately from vinyl, CD, and cassette orders. Since apparel is fulfilled by a third-party vendor, refunds or exchanges are not available — all sales are final.
Order Changes
If your order has not yet shipped, please email us to request changes. Unshipped orders are eligible for a refund only if the purchase was made in error.
Terms of Service
By placing an order through Coalmine Records, you agree that all information provided at checkout is accurate and complete. We reserve the right to cancel or refuse any order due to suspected fraud, pricing errors, or stock availability. Prices, products, and shipping rates are subject to change without notice. Coalmine Records is not responsible for delivery delays caused by carriers, customs, or incorrect shipping details provided by the customer.
Privacy Policy
Coalmine Records collects customer information only to process orders, provide service updates, and share news about new releases or special promotions. We do not sell or share personal data with third parties, except trusted partners who assist with order fulfillment and delivery. All information is stored securely and used only for order processing or, if you’ve opted in, for email updates from us.
