My Own Worst Enemy (Reissue)

My Own Worst Enemy (Reissue)
“Nothing beats the chemistry between two Rap veterans who’ve mastered the art of making concise bodies of work and honed them over decades.” -Dart Adams
Originally released in 2004, My Own Worst Enemy united Boston legend Edo G and Pete Rock for a hard-hitting collaborative effort rooted in sharp lyricism, soulful production, and undeniable chemistry. Built from beat tapes Pete Rock physically mailed from Mount Vernon to Boston, the album captures two seasoned craftsmen operating fully in their element. Featuring appearances from Jaysaun, Diamond D, Krumb Snatcha, and Masta Ace, the project balances introspective storytelling with rugged boom bap production across standout tracks like “Boston,” “Wishing,” “Voices,” and “School ’Em.”
This collector’s edition reissue is housed in a premium 24pt direct-to-board jacket featuring newly reimagined artwork by renowned designer Mr. Krum, with audio remastered by D-Sane at Digital Age Sound. The package includes a joiner OBI strip featuring a foreword by Dart Adams, a signed 8x10 glossy insert of Edo G, along with a picture flexi bonus track of “Shed a Tear.” Pressed on “Roxbury Red Galaxy Vinyl,” an eye-catching configuration blending translucent red and black, this edition is limited to 125 copies and available exclusively through our web-store.
