The Geto Boys’ 1991 breakthrough We Can’t Be Stopped returns to vinyl for its 35th anniversary, newly remastered and expanded to a 2xLP for the first time since 2014. This definitive edition includes the original 1991 artwork, carefully restored for vinyl by acclaimed designer Mr. Krum, who oversaw all visual design for this edition. Certified Platinum by the RIAA, the album features the era-defining classic “Mind Playing Tricks on Me.” Restored artwork and upgraded audio cement this landmark release as the most definitive edition to date.

This exclusive picture disc edition is housed in a gatefold jacket featuring a vintage photo of the Geto Boys shot by Ben DeSoto for the Houston Chronicle, and includes an OBI designed to resemble a patient admission form, complete with a pain diagram and admitting diagnosis. The discs expand on the hospital theme, with sides A and C featuring the Rod of Asclepius encircled by “5th Ward Ambulance Service” and “We Can’t Be Stopped,” reimagined here as its slogan. Sides B and D draw inspiration from Texas EMS Messenger, a regional publication from the era. Limited to just 125 copies, all orders begin shipping July 10, 2026.
