Throughout the 17 tracks, Burger takes the listener on a journey through soul-jazz, funk, fusion, Brazilian rare-grooves and gospel records, all wrapped up in the format of an alternative hip-hop album.

Originally released via Beat Jazz International — a subsidiary of HHV that focuses on music in the crossing point of jazz and hip hop — Daybreaks ranks as Burger’s fifth full length LP in his coveted discography. With the original pressing limited to just 300 copies, coupled with mint condition copies exceeding $125 on the resale market, the demand for a Daybreaks reissue is back by popular demand by longtime fans and new listeners! 

This special edition reissue features a brand new cover, hand-painted by acclaimed Norwegian artist, comedian, and actor Amir Asgharnejad. The vinyl is pressed on an eye-catching ghostly sea blue with orange splatter, and comes housed in hand-numbered reverse board jackets.
